An RPG with delightful combat.
There was a lot of doubt surrounding this game and its potential success in the West. But I am so glad they decided to bring this game to us after all.

The game is set in a war-torn world where Earth is destroyed by aliens and the ark with survivors is shot into space, only to crash land on the planet Mira. This sets the stage for Xenoblade Chronicles X. Here, you will find various landscapes, each with a unique look and feel.

You'll encounter bustling city life as you explore, with people going about their daily routines. Venturing further from the city, you'll encounter wildlife that you can engage in combat with. Fighting creatures nearly 10 times your size adds an extra layer of excitement to the game.

The game immerses you in its story through numerous quests that task you with obtaining various items as rewards, creating a good balance between your efforts and the combat. The battles are definitely not easy and will keep you focused no matter how long you've been playing.

This is a great game with more than enough content.

How big is the world actually
Where other games fail on the Wii U, because it's not powerful enough to run them, Xenoblade Chronicles X manages to prove the opposite. The game is literally and figuratively so immensely large that you can spend hours here and enjoy the beautiful gameplay. The gigantic open world ensures that you completely lose track of time, because you always find something new to discover.

The only downside I can think of about this game is that some missions somewhat hinder you from exploring freely. But this doesn't happen annoyingly often. Xenoblade once again has a wonderful combat system that you can keep evolving by making progress.

These are all points that make you want to keep on gaming! Not many games on the Wii U achieve this.
