Can you erase old data from used Creation Crystals? Creation Crystals are not supposed to be resettable. Fortunately, there are still two ways to reset creation crystals. If you have Skylanders Spyro's Adventure for the 3DS, you can place a Creation Crystal on the portal. You will then see the text "A Toy on the portal of power has a problem. Reset this Skylander?" Choose the "reset" option.
This also works with Skylanders Giants for the Wii (also on the Wii U in Wii mode). Start the game, place the Crystal on the Giants Portal, go to settings, and choose "reset broken toy." Now you can create a new water Imaginator with the crystal!
