Fantastic Zelda Experience!
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is a beautiful remake of the original Wind Waker for the Gamecube. In this game, you play as a young Link. His sister is kidnapped, so he sets out on an adventure to rescue her. Using a conductor's baton, he manipulates the wind to sail his boat across the vast ocean.
The gameplay is superb! It controls and plays very smoothly. Sailing is a fun way to traverse the map and visit all the unique islands, characters, and of course, dungeons.

Possibly the best Zelda in the series
I treated myself to this game because I used to have a lot of fun with the Zelda series.
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD in HD is truly a feast for the eyes, even though it doesn't fully utilize the power of the Wii U. Perhaps here less is more applies.

The adventure itself is quite ingenious. The controls are good but not perfect. It felt completely new, yet with the familiar obstacles and items (bombs, grappling hooks, bottles, etc).
The music is also fantastic.
Is it difficult? Well, at times it can be frustrating. You can always consult zeldadungeon.net if you get stuck somewhere.
The game also seems to last an eternity, so it's definitely value for money! I'm currently about 1/3 through with 7 hours of gameplay.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is a beautiful remake! A lovely nostalgic game released for the Wii U, complete with a special gamepad bundle. If you've played this installment before on the Gamecube, you'll breeze through it quite quickly. You know exactly what to do at the tougher points, yet you still have a lot of fun because it doesn't feel like you've played it before. Familiar, yet new. Amazing game, one of my favorites
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker is an exciting game with stunning graphics! Which is to be expected as it is an HD remake. It has a kind of drawn game style with an adventure theme! But don't let that distract you too quickly, this game makes sure you keep your head in the game at all times. I was stuck at the same part for about three quarters of an hour because I had skipped some text. Beautiful game!
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is one of my favorite games I have ever played. You play as Link and embark on an adventure of about 25 hours. Everyone you encounter has something interesting to say. Some people are nice and others mean. The world in the game feels truly alive because of this. There is a lot to discover and see. Unfortunately, it takes quite a while to sail from one island to another. Later in the game, you can travel faster with some sort of tornadoes, which is very convenient. However, the sailing still seems very slow. Furthermore, later in the game, you have to find parts of the Triforce. That is not fun to do because you have to fight a lot of enemies each time, and because the game is on the easy side, it quickly becomes boring. That is the only negative thing I have to say about The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD. It is a fantastic game, and everyone should play it! Cijfer:

Brings back the nostalgia
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD was a hit on the GameCube, and unfortunately, I never got the chance to play it on there. Luckily, Nintendo has created a beautiful remake for the Wii U.
I received it last Christmas and for 3 weeks, I did nothing but play Zelda. This game has it all; the graphics, the gameplay, and wow, the music is just too good (actually, in all Zelda games). The game will keep you busy for about 30 to 40 hours in story mode, but if you want to collect everything and achieve 100% completion, you'll have to put in some more hours (which I did too). But it's worth it because it's truly a gorgeous game! Cijfer:

My favorite game
I absolutely love The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD.
When you play through the game for the first time, you might wonder a few things like: what are they actually saying in that strange language (the language some of the gods in the game speak that you can hardly understand).
But when you play for the 2nd time, you see Link in his pajamas, which is quite funny, and you can also understand that strange language, so even playing it twice is fun in this game. Cijfer:

A classic now in HD
One of the best games on the GameCube is now also one of the top games on the Wii U!
There have been some improvements since the GameCube, such as the Swift Sail, the Pictograph, a Hero mode, and much more, along with better visuals of course!
The story of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is very enjoyable, with many islands to explore. And let's not forget about the music! Definitely a recommendation for anyone who owns a Wii U! Cijfer:

Way less long-winded than on the GameCube!
This is everything I had hoped for! The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD is truly amazing. I used to play it on the GameCube and when I heard that it was also coming out on the Wii U in HD, I pre-ordered the game right away! The game is fun and you can spend a lot of time on it! A great thing about this game is that you can finally sail faster than on the GameCube! You get a new sail! This makes the game way less long-winded!
