Fun and challenging for everyone
The variety of levels and the new "costumes" that Mario can wear are a very nice addition in Super Mario 3D World. Climb like a cat along walls or duplicate yourself to survive. Then there are still a few fun things to do on the map, like spinning coins and the Toad levels. Both are incredibly fun additions. Cijfer:

Super Mario 3D Land was disappointing for many. It deviated too much from the previous 3D Mario games. Super Mario 3D World aims to restore the reputation. In my opinion, it succeeds more than well!
The level design is superior to that of the 3DS game. Although it follows the same structure (reach the end of the level and jump on the flagpole), it shines much brighter on the Wii U due to many new gameplay elements. The new power-ups, Super Bell and Double Cherry, also introduce fresh possibilities. As Cat Mario, being able to climb walls (which looks super cute, by the way!) leads to new level designs.

Speaking of levels, the quantity is satisfyingly large once again. Each world features a considerable number of levels with various themes. One moment you're dashing through the desert, the next you're swimming through water. Variety is abundant. And if that's not enough, the Captain Toad levels and the purple mini-game houses are also highly entertaining.
Fortunately, the difficulty level is raised once more, especially as you progress further in the game. Some levels are truly incredibly challenging. But you're not alone... You can play through the entire game with up to four players. Competitive or cooperative, choose your setup, I'd say! It's always fun to push someone off the edge just before reaching the flagpole.
All of this is complemented by a delightful HD visual and soundtrack. It looks stunning and sounds truly fantastic.

Well-balanced, inviting, friendly, and above all, COZY atmosphere :-)
I've only played Super Mario 3D World for an hour and a half (just arrived), and I already find it to be a delightful game. The controls are smooth, and the "collecting stars" system solves the issue of being able to skip large sections in 3D worlds (now you're forced to go on an exploration instead of taking the fastest route, a bit like Mario 64).
It's just cozy in the Nintendo way. The power-ups are well thought out, the graphics are very nice, the music is enjoyable, and most importantly, it's great fun for everyone!
Lots of variety, and I've only just played through world 1... I expect to be busy with this for a while. Cijfer:

Good game, but lacks character
Super Mario 3D World was the Mario game the Wii U needed, but it also has some elements that are not so good. The graphics look beautiful and colorful in many cases. However, in some levels, it doesn't come together as nicely, especially in the savannah levels. The art style is nothing special, but it's passable. It's the typical Mario style of that generation and it's fine.
The music in the game is one of the highlights. All tracks are very strong and include remixes of old Mario tunes. The music always fits well with the level and really sets the mood in most cases.
One thing that is lacking in Super Mario 3D World is the level design. Many levels look very similar and therefore don't stand out. The levels don't have unique gimmicks to distinguish themselves from each other.
Another thing in the game that I'm not a fan of is the fact that you have to complete levels with certain characters to obtain items. This sounds like a good idea, but the implementation in the game is very poor. You walk with a character over a switch for that character and you get the item. It would have been better if they had special challenges for each character, so that only that character can obtain the item by using his/her special abilities.
The game is quite long, but you go through it quickly due to the low difficulty level. Only in the last 3 worlds does the game become challenging. Completing it 100% is definitely a challenge because of the last 3 levels, which I appreciate. You also have to complete all levels with all characters, which stretches the game out and doesn't add anything.
A new feature in this game is the 4-player multiplayer, where you can play the game with 3 others. At the same time, you compete for the crown by earning the most points in a level.
It's a shame that there are no multiplayer-specific modes, like in New Super Mario Bros. U, which would have improved the game.
This game is fun, but certainly not the best 3D Mario game due to the forgettable levels and unbalanced challenge. Cijfer:

My favorite Wii U game
Super Mario 3D World is a 3D platformer created by Nintendo for the Wii U. The game is a sequel to Super Mario 3D Land for the 3DS. Super Mario 3D World is a mix between 2D Mario and 3D Mario Games.

The levels are amazing! Each level feels different from the rest, for example, in world one, you have multiple grass levels but one of the levels is vertical. That's why I keep remembering those levels.
Another great aspect is the power-ups. You have the usual Mario power-ups like the Super Mushroom and the Fire Flower, but new to this game is the Super Bell. The Super Bell turns you into a cat. The cat can climb walls, scratch enemies, and more. The Double Cherry gives you a clone of your character. In some levels, you need a certain number of clones to collect a star. This can be easily skipped with four players, which leads us to...
The multiplayer is chaotic but fun. You can play together with up to four players. You can pick up, throw, or simply cooperate with each other.
A somewhat average part is the controls. They feel good, but you can only walk in eight directions. That's because you can also play with a Wiimote, but I don't recommend it.
The last part is the music. The music is fantastic. I highly recommend listening to it if you enjoy game music. Hide. Cijfer:

Another Mario title. This time a game similar to M64. The game looks cozy and the 4-player option creates a fun chaos.
The game progresses quickly; too quickly. I breezed through the game without any effort. Additionally, the new additions are fun... the first few times. The cat quickly became standard and didn't add much to the game. The pipe system is just plain annoying.

4 players!
Super Mario 3D World is one of my favorites among Nintendo Wii U games. This is the first Mario 3D game that you can play with 4 players, and it's super fun. Each character has its own power, Toad can run fast, Mario can do nothing (?), Luigi can jump high, and Peach can float for a bit. There's also plenty to do like collecting all the stamps and green stars, playing the three bonus worlds, unlocking secret characters, and much more. Super Mario 3D World is the major 3D Mario game for the Wii U. The game resembles a Mario Galaxy game a lot, as the level designs, controls, and characters are almost the same. The level design of this game is very tight and well-done. The game is packed with boss fights, unique level designs, and fun new elements like the Cat power-up. However, the game didn't impress me as much as the Mario Galaxy games did. This is because the Mario games are constantly evolving and more elements are being added around them. Nevertheless, the game is very rich and there is a ton to do. A great 3D Mario game
Super Mario 3D World is a great 3D Mario game that looks good and is fun and appealing. It's a game with a difficulty level for everyone. I do think some levels could have been a bit longer, but overall it's a top game. I also think it's really cool that you can unlock three bonus worlds where you can also unlock Rosalina as a playable character. The power-ups in this game are fantastic, you can choose almost all power-ups and if the level is not going well, you can get a special Tanuki power-up that makes you invincible to enemies all the time and gives you the power of the Tanuki. I find the bosses in this game rather mediocre. They are very easy and in the bonus worlds, you only get a stronger variant and not an original boss. Cijfer:

3D World is super fun
I've played many Mario games and personally, I find Super Mario 3D World to be one of the most enjoyable. Not necessarily the best, but one filled with a lot of joy. It's not a fully 3D game where you can freely rotate the camera, but in my experience, this wasn't an issue at all. The GamePad of the Wii U is also utilized beautifully in SM3DWorld.
