You embark on a journey of discovery to a new planet. It really feels that way, as you constantly wonder what else there is to explore and which Pikmin will join you next.
With a total of 100 Pikmin in 5 colours that you command with three leaders across the planet, the possibilities are quite vast. To defeat monsters and collect fruit, you'll be multitasking quite a bit. In the extra missions, the challenge is to manage everything efficiently and in the best way possible. Pikmin 3, a great addition
Pikmin 3 is a great addition to the Pikmin series and once again provides an entertaining adventure. Two new types of Pikmin have been added: Winged Pikmin and Rock Pikmin. Rock Pikmin have the ability to break crystals. They have a huge first hit bonus and are immune to being squashed, which means DEATH TO ALL BULBORS! The Winged Pikmin can fly, making it easier for them to carry objects back and you don't have to throw them at flying enemies.

Awesome game, with amazing graphics!
Pikmin 3 is just so much fun, the levels are nice and long to play through. There are so many types of Pikmin to unlock, and each Pikmin has a different ability to access different areas of a level. Plays really well with the gamepad, a new way of playing with the touchscreen. I can't recommend this game enough to everyone! Cijfer:

Pikmin 3, a beautiful world with amazing bosses
In Pikmin 3, you land on a strange planet where you encounter the Pikmin. Each Pikmin has its own powers; one can fly, while another can manipulate electricity. Along the way, you'll encounter all sorts of strange creatures that you have to defeat. It's just really fun to explore the beautiful world! Cijfer:

Good, but not Pikmin 2
Personally, I don't think Pikmin 3 is the best game in the series, but improving Pikmin 2 without a multiplayer storyline is almost impossible. I really enjoyed playing Pikmin 3, but I definitely recommend everyone to play Pikmin 2 first. That game provides a fantastic introduction to Pikmin 3, making you appreciate the colorful collectors even more.
Now that Pikmin 2 is also playable on the Wii U through the Wii channel, I would say: Play both, each game guarantees at least a long weekend of enjoyment! Cijfer:

Simply pure enjoyment!
I simply think it's a fantastic game! At a young age, I started playing Pikmin 1 on the GameCube! I found it quite challenging back then, but eventually managed to complete it! Later on, I also got Pikmin 2! That one was amazing too! The downside of those games, in my opinion, was the limited number of days you had! Fortunately, with Pikmin 3, that's no longer the case! Moreover, the graphics are really beautiful! The GamePad is also utilized wonderfully! In short, this game is simply pure enjoyment! Cijfer:

Always try to take different colours of Pikmin with you on your journey in Pikmin 3. For instance, if you run into a glass wall, your red, yellow, or blue Pikmin won’t be much help. You’ll need rock Pikmin for that, and if you don’t have any with you at the time, you won’t be able to progress and will have to trek all the way back to your base... To minimise this, I recommend being prepared for anything by carrying multiple types of Pikmin with you.
