Amazing console with fantastic games
The Wii U may not have sold very well, but it is a fantastic console with dozens of amazing games to play on it. Games like Super Mario Maker, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Super Mario 3D World, and Pikmin 3 are truly amazing, and there are many more games worth playing.
What makes the Wii U unique is the touchscreen on the controller, allowing some games to make use of asymmetric multiplayer like Super Mario Bros. U and Mario Party 10.
The Wii U is especially worth it for true Nintendo fans, but there are also plenty of games for casual gamers. Additionally, the Wii U plays all Wii games and uses the same controllers, making the Wii U an even better purchase because you have access to games from 2 consoles.
The Wii U is truly amazing and guarantees hours of fun.

One of the best Nintendo consoles.
The Wii U is the black sheep of the Nintendo consoles. It sold very poorly, but for a reason, of course. However, the Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black isn't all that bad, or perhaps even one of the best Nintendo consoles?

The Wii U isn't very unique. It's essentially an HD Wii, with a GamePad added. The GamePad is great for when someone wants to watch TV and you want to game, or if you enjoy playing on the loo. It's also very handy for certain other games.

The controllers are good. Besides the GamePad, you can still use all the old Wii controllers, and there's a nice new Pro Controller.

The user interface is super user-friendly. It's easy to navigate, and you can organize all your apps into folders. Plus, almost all Wii U apps and menus have catchy tunes, and there are plenty of extra apps like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and YouTube.

The games are the Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black's strong suit. The Wii U boasts many strong games in beautiful HD. Platformers like Donkey Kong and Mario, action games like Splatoon, puzzle games, racing games, you name it. Many games are not exclusive and are also available on the Nintendo Switch, but that doesn't spoil the fun.

Moreover, the Wii U can read all Wii discs and has an eShop with Virtual Console: an online store where you can download games from almost every previous Nintendo console.

The Wii U often gets a bad rap due to poor sales figures and lackluster marketing, but it's actually a very solid console with a vast game library and plenty of enjoyable multiplayer possibilities.

Skeptical
The Wii U has been out for a while now. I bought it about half a year ago along with the game Super Mario Brothers U. I have to say, I was quite excited about it at first. However, unfortunately, with the game Super Mario Bros., the gamepad isn't really essential. In other games, the gamepad is better utilized.

So far, the gamepad really shines in the game "Super Mario Maker"; where you use it to create levels. Nevertheless, I mostly play games with the pro controller.

The hardware itself is quite conservative. This is so that old games can still be played. Sticking to a standard also has its drawbacks. It just lacks that extra bit of power. Not that the games can't be beautiful! By the way, games shouldn't necessarily be beautiful, but fun! And that's where the Wii U excels. There aren't a crazy amount of titles available, but most of them are just fine.

The store is pretty cool too; especially with the downloadable content. It gave me more enjoyment and playtime with Mario Kart 8.

I didn't buy it for the graphics or the price, but mainly for Mario and Zelda; and so that my nephew can play on it and eventually inherit it (when I'm done with it or when something new comes out).

Gamepad is unnecessary
We actually bought the Wii U quite some time after it was released, and we bought it second-hand. This was because it is quite expensive when bought new and it didn't have too many new features compared to the Wii. I am very happy that we have it, even though my brother and I don't play many different games on it. Especially Super Smash Bros. for Wii U is truly a top-quality game and plays perfectly on the Wii U. Besides the graphics, I don't really see many innovative features on the Wii U, and the Amiibo function is actually used very little by us. This is because once an Amiibo reaches level 50 or after unlocking an outfit with it, there isn't much else you can do with it. However, this doesn't change the fact that I think they are really cool (but too expensive).

I personally find the Wii U Gamepad to be quite unnecessary for most games on the Wii U, except for Super Mario Maker and Nintendo Land. Nonetheless, I think it's a very nice console and I will be busy with it for a while.

Despite everything, the Nintendo Wii U is still recommended for every gamer!

Great console for those who love Nintendo games.
The Wii U is disappointing for many people due to the underutilization of the included controller, the GamePad. Honestly, that's quite a poor reason to hate the system; the GamePad fits very comfortably in the hand and is a very pleasant controller for me. Some games can even be played on the GamePad screen, allowing someone else to watch TV while you play! This feature has been very useful for me, and I'm glad it's possible. Additionally, the GamePad is not the only thing the Wii U has to offer; it has all sorts of fun games that can't be found anywhere else, like the well-known Mario games, non-stop action games such as Bayonetta 2, or the brand-new Splatoon. These games really made me happy with my Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black; I've invested hundreds of hours in those games and still play regularly! In short, it's a great console, especially when you can play with your family or friends; there are quite a few party games available on the Wii U!

A flop? Yes and no.
Is the Nintendo Wii U a flop? Yes and no. Nintendo really did its best to bring a new concept gaming console to the market. In that aspect, they failed and couldn't compete with the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One. This can be seen from the sales figures, etc. The Wii U is not powerful enough, seemed too much like its predecessor, the Wii, and feels cheap. Because, boy, was the Wii U expensive at release. Furthermore, I don't really understand the purpose of the GamePad, as it adds little to nothing to certain games. Essentially, the Wii U is an early version of the Nintendo Switch. But thankfully, the Nintendo Switch pulled Nintendo out of that gloomy period. One thing that is great about the Wii U is the games. And I'm so glad that most games have been brought to the Switch, such as The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Mario 3D World, New Super Mario Bros. U, Mario Kart 8, and so on. I see it like this. The Wii U simply came out too early and was a flop, but it did pave the way for the Nintendo Switch to become such a huge success.

Expensive for little benefit
I purchased a Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black and it is less than what I expected. For those planning to buy a Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black, you should consider that with a Wii U, you can only play in the vicinity of the console that needs to be connected to the TV. In our house, it only works in the same spot, so taking it to grandma's or aunt's place is only possible if you pack up everything and connect it to their TV.

You can use games from the regular Wii, but only to play through the TV, not on the console itself (the gamepad). The Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black is essentially just a replacement TV screen if someone else wants to watch something else on the TV.

And if you're playing a regular Wii game and not a Wii U game, it's very difficult to continue playing on the small screen with the remote. So, you really need to think it over before making a purchase. If, like me, you spend a lot of time in bed, this could be quite handy as you wouldn't need to have the TV on all day.

Wii U 32GB great for online downloads
The Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack is a great console for gaming. With the 32GB storage, you can download plenty of games from the Nintendo eShop. This means you don't necessarily need a disc, as you can also download them online. If you prefer not to buy games online and want to download them straight away, you can always purchase a disc. In that case, it's best to opt for the Wii U Basic.

Not a bad console
The Wii U is by far the worst-selling Nintendo game console ever. Despite that, it's definitely not a bad console. It has fantastic games like Super Mario 3D World, Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and Mario Party 10. You don't just have a Wii Remote or Pro Controller to use. You also have the Wii U GamePad. This is necessary for most games, but what I really like is that sometimes you can play games entirely on it. For example, with New Super Mario Bros. U and Zelda Breath of the Wild, you can do this. It can be very handy if someone else wants to use the TV. Unfortunately, you can't go far away from the TV, as the connection will break. The Wii U sold very poorly. One possible explanation for this is that people who wanted a Wii already had one and the Wii U didn't offer enough to make them switch. The nice thing about the Wii U is that you can play both Wii U and Wii games. So games like Super Mario Galaxy can also be played on it. Unfortunately, the Wii mode has slightly less sharp image quality than the Wii officially had.

Black Wii U
I purchased the Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black, the sleek version. There are no scratches on the gamepad, only a few on the console itself. And it was delivered within two days, great service. Just a shame that the stand for the console and the Wii U are not included.

Very fun console!
I think the Wii U is a really fun console! There are a lot of great games to play on the Wii U. Additionally, it's nice that if you don't want to play on your TV, you can also play on the GamePad. This way, for example, your parents can watch TV while you game on the GamePad. Furthermore, there is plenty of storage space on the black Nintendo Wii U 32GB Premium Pack - Black. Definitely a recommendation from me!

Great Purchase
Received it today, the condition was as indicated, so I got what I paid for, which is good! The Wii U is working and the cables are fine. I only have one downside, the Wii U GamePad is still dirty, would have been nice if they could have cleaned it, not a big deal but yeah.

Is Mario Wii U a fun and great addition for the family?
Our Wii was broken, so I went looking and ended up with the Wii U.
My seven-year-old son loves Mario and is now really happy with the fun Mario games like Mario Maker, Mario 3D World, and Mario Kart. Even when I don't want a big screen on in the house, they can keep playing on the gamepad. This isn't possible with all games. And if I don't want sound either, they just put on headphones.

What are some extra features that make the Wii U appealing for families?
Keeping track of how long a game has been played is handy. Netflix is also highly appreciated, my daughter often sits with headphones watching a movie even on a small screen. Browsing the internet works fairly smoothly and Youtube is also very nice, it's easy to control even in combination with a smartphone.
The gamepad remote control for the TV also works very well, you can turn the TV on and off and adjust the volume.

What are potential drawbacks of the Wii U?
One drawback we encountered is that it can't play DVDs, which isn't convenient because it means having another device by the TV. Also, if you're watching Netflix on the TV screen, you can't turn off the gamepad and end up with a double image which can be bothersome at times.
