How to erase a used Creation Crystal?
Creation Crystals are not actually designed to be erased. However, a few methods have been discovered to reset the creation crystals. For instance, with Skylanders Spyro's Adventure for the 3DS, you can reset a creation crystal by placing it on the portal. You will then see the message "A Toy on the portal of power has a problem, Reset this Skylander?" on the screen. Choose the "reset" option.

You can also erase the saved data using Skylanders Giants for the Wii (also on the Wii U in Wii mode). Start the game, place the Crystal on the Giants Portal, go to settings, and select "reset broken toy." Now you can create a new Light Creation Crystal - Skylanders Imaginators!
