Different, yet good
Definitely a very different game compared to the rest of the Zelda series, but it still captures the familiar Legend of Zelda charm. Especially at the beginning of the game, you'll notice how satisfying it is to go on a total rampage against dozens of monsters that used to take a lot more effort and time to defeat. With a fairly large variety of characters and weapons, along with the upgrade system, Hyrule Warriors offers a lot of fun and a unique experience (for the series). Cijfer:

Conquer the game
After playing several Dynasty Warriors installments, I already expected to find this a must-have. What more could you want? A game similar to Dynasty Warriors, with Link in the lead role! It's not a difficult game, as you can adjust the difficulty level, making it a very enjoyable game to play. Furthermore, the game looks beautiful and offers plenty of options in terms of levels. Just as good as other Zelda games
I know this game is basically Dynasty Warriors with Zelda characters, but it's just as good as regular Zelda games.
The number of characters in this game is very comparable to characters from Ocarina Of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword (and downloadable Majora's Mask characters). Each fighter has at least one weapon and a unique playstyle. I just find it a bit unfair that the weapons are unevenly distributed. For example, Link has about 7(!) weapons while most other characters only have 1.

Still, I find Link the most enjoyable to play with, followed by newcomer Lana.
The combat revolves around capturing keeps; if you lose the allied base, it's game over. To capture keeps, you need to defeat enough enemies inside until the keep's owner appears. Defeat them, and the keep is yours!

A fun Zelda spin-off
There are 3 versions of this game: Hyrule Warriors (Wii U), Hyrule Warriors: Legends (3DS), and Hyrule Warriors: Definitive Edition (Switch).
The Switch version is definitely the best, as it includes all DLC, followed by the Wii U version, and the 'weakest' version is the 3DS version.
It's very enjoyable to play as your favorite Zelda characters, but the game can become somewhat repetitive. This is not a typical Zelda game, but a hack-and-slash game. Cijfer:

If you want to level up a character quickly, this is one of the best tactics. You'll need the first image of the golden skulltulas for this. If you already have it, you’ve unlocked a level in Adventure mode under a separate section titled 'rewards'. First, make an EXP potion in the shop and start the level with the character you want to level up.
You'll start somewhere in the middle of the level. If your character is low-level, it can be quite challenging, as there are some high-level monsters present in the area.
The game will prompt you to choose an ally from 6 other characters. When you do this, the other 5 characters will turn hostile. Wait for 15 minutes and defeat some smaller monsters for EXP.
After that, go to Midna and let her become your ally. If you pause and check the map now, you’ll see that all the other characters are nearly dead and have very little HP left. Make sure you take them out yourself, and you’ll gain a lot of EXP from them.
Once you’ve done this, a boss will appear all the way at the bottom left, and he can be quite tough, so make sure you’re comfortable with your character.
After defeating the boss, you’re guaranteed to have leveled up by 4 to 5 levels!
