Quite boring and too much inspired by amiibos
I find Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival to be a somewhat enjoyable game with a few similarities to Mario Party. However, the game relies too heavily on the amiibo functionality; you basically need amiibos to be able to play, making it a bit pay to play.
Mario Party is more successful in this aspect as it includes mini-games. Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival lacks this, which makes it less appealing to play.
Nevertheless, some game modes are quite enjoyable when playing with friends or family. If you're looking for a game similar to this but without the need for amiibos, I recommend Mario Party 10 for the Wii U.

Play minigames for a high score
The game is quite fun for kids. Some things are repeated quite often. This does make Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival sometimes very predictable. What I have noticed is that the game is very enjoyable for children, the multiple levels make it extra fun for kids who have played it a few times. It has a tiny resemblance to Mario Party but this is really minimal. Fun minigames that you often want to replay to achieve the highest possible score.

For the true Animal Crossing enthusiast
As I collect Amiibo and really enjoy the (older) Mario Party series, I wanted to have this game. This was mainly due to the current low price.

You quickly realize that Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is not a party game that you can easily play alone. A few days ago, my nephew and niece came to stay and they wanted to play this game. It was much more fun to play with the three of us. It's only recommended if you can play regularly with friends or family. Otherwise, the game can get quite boring, and the computer is more active than you are.

The game environment looks nice and definitely reminds you of the Animal Crossing series. Collecting the Amiibo figures and cards is a nice addition. However, without Amiibo or cards, it's not really playable and the game is quite limited. It's a true multiplayer game with the charm of the Animal Crossing series.

Party game
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is fun to play with a few people. Unfortunately, a game does take a while and it's the same events that keep coming back.

Rubbish.
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is basically just Mario Party, but without the mini-games and with Animal Crossing, and mini-games are what make Mario Party so much fun!! Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival would have been better off as a separate mode in another Animal Crossing game, but it's being sold separately.

On top of that, it's super annoying to play! Every time you roll the dice, you have to scan your amiibo. Annoying and time-consuming!

The only charm the game does have is the cute little cutscenes, pleasant tunes, and of course the low price.

Of course, this game was only made to sell Animal Crossing amiibo, but it's still super disappointing.

Such a fun game!
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is such a fun game! Personally, I think it's even better than Mario Party! It's just so lovely, especially with my favorite Animal Crossing characters! Truly enjoyable! The graphics are also really beautiful! Definitely recommend this!

Boring, but great with family or friends!
Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival is mostly hated by many, but if you don't dwell on that, you can have a lot of fun with this game. There is only 1 board, but thanks to the calendar, you have a new experience each time. For example, if you play in April, you have to collect as many Easter eggs as possible when it's Easter Day in the game or April Fools' Day. There are no mini-games on the board, but there are many excellent ones outside the board game, and those mini-games almost reach the level of Nintendo Land mini-games!

When I'm Not Working...

In my free time, I love playing "Animal Crossing amiibo Festival" with my best friends Yoshi and Luma! We take turns using our favorite amiibo figures and try to collect as many Happy Points as possible. My favorite moment was when Yoshi and I had a fishing contest, and Luma acted as the referee. It was so exciting, and we had so much fun! And you know what? Seeing everyone having a blast in the cute village of Animal Crossing makes me super happy. Fantastic!
