Angry Birds Trilogy is a fantastic alternative if you can't or don't have a phone!

If you've never played Angry Birds before, don't hesitate and head to the store!
This game remains enjoyable for a long time and keeps you entertained!
If you've played Angry Birds before and don't like it? Doesn't bother me! Everyone has their own opinion!
My conclusion: Yes, Angry Birds Trilogy is packed with fun and colorful levels.

Fun but cumbersome game
Angry Birds Trilogy is definitely fun if you want to play a short game in between. A huge amount of levels will keep you busy for hours. However, I find this game not optimal. Personally, I think this game plays a bit awkwardly.
Shooting the Birds is fine, you get the hang of it, but it's clear that this game wasn't originally made for this console, which definitely takes away some of the enjoyment for me, especially during longer playing sessions.

Familiar Angry Birds experience on a bigger screen with intuitive controls
Angry Birds Trilogy for the Nintendo Wii U brings the charm of the popular mobile game to your television, which was a fun experience for me. This version combines the content of the original Angry Birds, Seasons, and Rio, giving you a hefty dose of levels to plough through. The essence of the game remains the same: you launch birds to destroy structures and take out those pesky pigs. What I liked is that the Wii U GamePad provides intuitive controls. You can choose between using the touchscreen or the traditional buttons, with the touchscreen feeling a bit like the mobile experience.

Graphically, Angry Birds Trilogy looks colourful and sharp on the Wii U, which highlights the playfulness of the game nicely. However, I must say I was a bit disappointed by the lack of innovation or extra features that you would expect from a console version. It's a shame that more wasn't done to make the game special for the Wii U. It feels like a missed opportunity to really offer something new to players who are used to the mobile versions.

While the game is certainly fun for families or fans wanting to experience Angry Birds on a bigger screen, I must honestly say that the price is on the high side compared to the cheap mobile versions. This makes it harder to recommend to everyone. Still, it remains an entertaining choice if you want to play with multiple people in the living room or if you're simply a big fan of the series.
